New piece done! As I was in my studio pondering on my next piece I thought to myself what subject can I focus on now for my next piece. So as I was listening to online radio music I noticed that the songs they were playing under the ”Rap” genre was so contaminating to the human mind but especially to our youth. So I asked myself how can I illustrate my message on how rap music and the lyrics are so contaminating to the many young minds of our times. So I was determined to create a piece based on that subject / theme. Here is the end result enjoy!

Ladies and gentleman the long awaited latest work of art created by fellow artist / graphic designer Angel Hernandez of DPI Creative and Mario Peña of Elijah Arts Unltd is finally here. A few months ago I met with the fellow artist at DPI Creative studio and we talked about doing a collaboration and merging both the graphic design world and fine art world together and make one unforgetful work of art. After months of creating and researching and countless hours in the studio it is finally here. We wanted to create a piece on the Notorious B.I.G not because we are both fans of the late hip-hop artist but because we wanted to show the world our version and our vision on a cultural icon such as Biggie was. It was a pleasure and an honor to work with such talented artist.

Here is a photograph again of the Grimus character sighted at the Candy Factory in Soho NYC photo was courtesy of fellow street artist Billi Kid. Now if you pass by there it is all cleaned up and buffed. Slowly but surely it will get back to it’s roots.
